Happy Veteran's Day y'all!

I take a little extra pride in this holiday.. Mostly because my hubby is a veteran.

A smokin' hot veteran ;)

I mean REALLY though... Swoon ;)

But also because I know so many other veterans and I am absolutely humbled by the sacrifices they have made for our great country. So thank you, to all of the men and women who have served and continue to serve. I am truly grateful for all that you do!

So does anybody else ever think back in time and just laugh? Today, for example, I was remembering what was happening for us a year ago. We were driving back from Florence, South Carolina after seeing Florida Georgia Line the night before and I was freaking out about finally buying my first vacuum cleaner... #wifelife. 

I won't get into that whole story but I will say that it didn't go exactly as planned... You can read HERE about my great vacuum devastation. 

Anyway, this memory was cracking me up because Mike and I were also talking about Black Friday this morning and what we each wanted to try and find deals on. 

Mike's List

- A 50" (or larger) tv

......and that about sums it up.

My List

- A lawn mower

- A couple furniture pieces to finish off our living room

- Christmas presents!

A lawn mower? Who am I? In my defense, we finally have a backyard and with that comes the responsibility of lawn maintenance. Normally I wouldn't put much thought into that, but with the strong chance of Mike deploying early next year, that leaves little old me to care for the lawn once the weather warms up. So now it's just up to one of the stores out here in Jville to put the mower I want on sale! Vacuum cleaners and lawn mowers... It's quite the exciting life I lead ;)
