19 Weeks

My apologies on the less than stellar lighting... The sun disappeared just in time for the picture! ;)
How far along? 19 weeks.
Total weight gain: I finally bought a scale! And I'm FINALLY breaking even with my starting weight... It's about time!
Maternity clothes? Still nothing new. I'm finding now that I'm more noticeably preggo, I've been wearing a lot of stretchy tank tops and open sweaters. Loving that combo!
Stretch marks? Still none.
Sleep: Still pretty good, still completely in love with the body pillow.
Nausea: Still working on increasing my appetite, but no nausea standing in my way!
Best moment this week: Wrapping presents and stuffing stockings for our early Christmas celebration this weekend!
Miss Anything? I've been working really hard on keeping my caffeine intake nice and low, so that means passing on my beloved Diet Coke more often than not :(
Movement: I think that I felt a little movement the other night! I've been laying in bed at night, totally still and staring at the ceiling, just waiting for something to happen and I think on Tuesday night I finally did! Sort of like a little 'tap' from the inside... It happened twice but I haven't felt anything else since.
Food cravings: Hot & Sour soup. Potstickers. DIET COKE.
Anything making you queasy or sick: Not anything specific, just struggling with a serious lack of appetite.
Have you started to show yet? I think it's safe to say YES! I was told the other night that my belly has "popped" :)
Labor Signs: Nope.
Symptoms: Occasional headaches. Weird and random little aches and pains. An inability to climb stairs without taking a break half way up ;)
Belly Button in or out? In.
Wedding ring on or off? On and fitting just fine!
Happy or Moody most of the time: Happy! I think all this holiday cheer is really brightening my mood!
Looking forward to: This weekend! We are celebrating Mike's birthday and Christmas a little early since we will be out of town/traveling for both this year.

I'm not sure when it happened, or how long it will last, but I think I'm finally seeing some light at the end of the exhaustion tunnel! I've had a lot more energy this past week and I've been trying to put it to good use without over doing it and setting myself back. I've been catching up on some seriously neglected chores, and spending a lot more time outside with Lou making up for the lame, half-assed walks he's been stuck with lately. Fingers crossed that this burst of energy sticks around for a while, I'm loving it!

Along with my rising energy level, I'm really happy that the weekend is finally here! Mike had to work both days last weekend which always sucks, and next weekend we will be traveling, so tomorrow and Sunday are all about spending time together and binge watching Game of Thrones relaxing! Since we'll be away from home for Mike's birthday and Christmas this year, we decided it would be easier to just celebrate both days early instead of bringing presents, stockings, and Mike's traditional pick-whatever-you-want birthday dinner on the road with us. So tomorrow is going to be our Christmas, complete with presents & stockings, Christmas movies, and a very festive breakfast, and then Sunday night we'll stuff our faces with Mike's choice dinner and some extra presents for my favorite birthday boy!

Next up for the Beard's... A very merry (and possibly insane) road trip to Texas! I'm freaking out a little at the thought of three days in the car, but I know that no matter what happens on the road it's going to be worth it to see our families for the holidays :) Any tips for road tripping when you're 20 weeks pregnant? How about road tripping with a dog in the back seat? So far I'm thinking a good Christmas playlist and lots of pit stops! ;)

And on that note... Someone says it's time to go play!
Happy early Holidays from our family to yours!
