16 Weeks

Just a heads up... I'm not really sure what's going on with the colors/fonts/sizing in this post... I'm currently blogging from Mike's laptop while mine is being repaired and I just can't seem to get the hang of it! :(

 

 

 

*Things that are hard: Drawing an avocado with chalk, and growing out a lifetime's worth of blonde highlights*

How far along? 16 weeks.

Total weight gain: As of Tuesday night I was 1lb up from my 3lb loss at 13 weeks. So still -2lbs from my starting weight.

Maternity clothes? I bought some shirts and a belly band and I LOVE them, but I'm definitely not even close to filling them out yet.

Stretch marks? Nope! Still coating my itchy self in belly butter every day.

Sleep: Good! I've been sleeping with a body pillow every night and I find it's much easier to get comfortable.

Nausea: None.

Best moment this week: Mike had the day off today since the ball is tomorrow, so we got to spend the day together relaxing and snuggling with Lou on the couch. My absolute favorite! :)

Miss Anything? Not really, no. Although I'm sure I'll miss slamming beers with everyone tomorrow night in Myrtle Beach!

Movement: I find myself waiting for it all the time even though I know it's still too early. I'm just so excited!

Food cravings: The same as last week, bagels & cream cheese, milk, salty everything.

Anything making you queasy or sick: Not really.. Red onions and garlic are giving me some issues smell-wise but I wouldn't say they're making me sick.

Have you started to show yet? A little bit, yes! Not enough that strangers would take notice, but Mike and I can definitely tell.
Labor Signs: Nope.

Symptoms: Congestion and round ligament pain - such a weird feeling!

Belly Button in or out? In, but the belly button ring is officially out.
Wedding ring on or off? On.

Happy or Moody most of the time: Happy, but still having random fits of crying. I tend to cry if I get too emotional on either end of the spectrum.. Laughing too hard usually sends me over the edge!

Looking forward to: Heading down to Myrtle Beach tomorrow for the Marine Corps Birthday Ball! And after that, picking up Gracie on Monday!! :)
