14 Weeks

How far along? 14 weeks + 4 days. A little late on this post because we had family in town all weekend and I'm still playing catch up :)

Total weight gain: -3lbs. I weighed myself out of curiosity last Wednesday and was really surprised to see weight loss instead of gain, but I'm sure after indulging all weekend I've made up for it.

Maternity clothes? Still just living in leggings except on the random 80 degree days we're still getting here.

Stretch marks? Nope!

Sleep: Good and I can't seem to get enough of it!

Nausea: Seems to finally be on it's way out and my appetite seems be making a slow come back.

Best moment this week: Meeting our sweet niece Brooklyn and spending the whole weekend surrounded by family.

Miss Anything? Having energy!

Movement: Not yet, but we're getting closer!

Food cravings: Still loving milk, salt, and anything spicy!

Anything making you queasy or sick: It seems like the aversions are slowly disappearing, although I'm still not too keen on meat.

Have you started to show yet? I think I finally have! I wore a more form fitting maxi dress the other day and Mike looked at me and went "WHOA there's a baby in there". Pretty exciting stuff :)
Labor Signs: Nope.

Symptoms: Still really struggling with some killer headaches. I was prescribed Magnesium Oxide to help keep them at bay, but it hasn't knocked them out for good.
Belly Button in or out? In.
Wedding ring on or off? On.

Happy or Moody most of the time: Usually pretty happy but getting a taste of how crazy these preggo hormones can be! Lots of random crying,  and sometimes hysterical laughter followed by crying... I'm a mess.

Looking forward to: Finding out the gender!

We were so lucky to have our house filled to the brim with family last weekend! Mike's dad and his wife flew in from Texas, as well as Mike's brother, his wife, and their sweet baby girl. We haven't seen them since our big wedding last year in September (and we haven't met Brooklyn since she was born last December), so it was great to be able to spend time with all of them and also show them our new-ish house! We can't wait to see them again after Christmas! :)

Coming up we have the Marine Corps Birthday Ball which will look pretty different this year for us... No cocktails and karaoke at Señor Frogs afterwards ;) but I'm sure it will still be a blast! The Monday after that my sister flies into town to spend Thanksgiving with us. Mike has already picked out our 24lb turkey (I know...) so I'm anxious to see how it all turns out. And as if all of that wasn't enough, we will be finding out the gender of Baby Beard in the next couple of days!!
