A Quick Weekend In Colorado

Happy Monday! I hope everyone enjoyed their weekend because I certainly did! My youngest sister went to her senior (omg what?!) prom on Friday, and I was lucky enough to be there to witness it!

Is she a movie star or what?!
Hair & makeup by yours truly ;)
I flew into Denver Thursday afternoon and after being greeted by a large glass of wine at my mom's, went to do a little shopping! We were on a mission for the perfect red lipstick, but naturally had to stop in just about every single store at Park Meadows ;) I almost forgot what it's like to shop at a real mall!

Friday was the big day! We went to get our nails done at 10 a.m. and our appointment went so quickly that we had time to go and watch Gracie's boyfriend's baseball game. Good thing too, he played really well and they won!

My beautiful mama and STUNNING sissy :)

Once we got home it was straight into prom prep mode. It took about 3 hours to do her hair and make up, and once we emerged from a thick cloud of hairspray, we made our way over to the boyfriend's house for some couple's only pictures.

They are so goofy and I love it!
Absolutely picture perfect :)
From there we went to a big house in a nice gated community to take group pictures and wait for their bus to pick them up.

Once they left, I was off duty and got to enjoy some delicious Indian food with my mom and step-dad :)

Saturday morning, I woke up early to go with Gracie to the dance studio I used to teach at. She teaches three classes on Saturday mornings and I offered to tag along to help her poor exhausted self! After that it was smothered burritos for lunch and a little more shopping at the outlets, finished off with Netflix and leftover pizza :)

My very bestest :)
My flight back was early Sunday morning and after sitting on the plane without moving for almost an hour at DIA, I had to do some serious hauling to make my connecting flight in Charlotte! But everything worked out and I made it home just fine and on time.

I am so thankful that I was able to be there for such an important weekend. I love my little sissy SO much, and I am so proud of the smart, stunningly beautiful, AMAZING woman she is becoming! And as an added bonus, I get to see my family again in just three short weeks for Gracie's high school graduation! Seriously, where is the time going?!

I can't wait to go back to Colorado, but for now I plan on getting in as much snuggle time as I can! My fur babies are the best :)
