My Main Man

Today is my sweet hubby's 24th birthday!

This is one of my very favorite days in the year. Not only because Mike is finally the same age as me for a few (short) months, but also because I get to spend the entire week day celebrating the most wonderful man in my life!

Remember when we first started dating and I was over the moon to plan your "21st" birthday party right before your first deployment? And I couldn't understand why EVERY one was laughing at me? Finally you were kind enough to explain that you were only turning 20 and I was beyond embarrassed.. But at least it's a funny memory :)

I love that this is the fourth birthday we've celebrated together and I love even more that we will actually get to spend it in the same place! One year you were in Cali, the next you were in the field, last year I was actually the one to leave for our Christmas cruise before you, but this year we get to full on partayyy!

I am so lucky to have been a part of your life these last four years. You are without a doubt my very best friend and the best partner I could have by my side in this crazy life. You are the hardest worker, most dedicated husband, best snuggler, funniest, silliest, most spectacular man I know, and I am thankful for you and your love every single day! 

So here's to you handsome.. 

I hope this day is all that you want it to be, and that we celebrate many more like it in the future. I love you! Now let's party ;)

In other news...

We have some last minute visitors coming to stay with us this Christmas and we are SO excited to be able to spend the holiday with family! We've been shopping like crazy, decorating, and planning out a big Christmas dinner. We're also hoping to make a trip to Mike's Farm this year to see the lights and take a sleigh ride so hopefully the hub's busy schedule will allow for a little fun!
