A Few of My Favorite Things

Mike is in the field all of this week (surprise, surprise) but I'm ok with it because we are experiencing some SERIOUS fall weather in Jville right now! Low 60's and rainy :) Not the most ideal for an energetic puppy, but mama is absolutely loving it! Bring on the snuggles and Netflix.

While I certainly do not love it when Mike is away, I try to surround myself with things I do love until he's home again! Currently on my love list:

1. Pumpkin Pecan Waffles.

HOLY MOTHER. It's like some fabulous chef broke into my house and cooked me a batch of delicious pumpkin pecan waffles smothered in butter and syrup. I've been washing my hands like crazy just to get a whiff! Bath and Body Works is seriously on point with all of their fall scents this year but this is currently my #1 fave.

2. Mike's work socks.

I have perpetually cold toes and sometimes my dinky little low-cut, athletic socks just don't cut it. That's when I raid Mike's sock drawer for the thickest, coziest pair I can find :) My current favorite are Cabela's brand, similar HERE. They're currently clashing horribly with my grey running tights, but my fur babies don't judge ;)

3. The Mixed Materials Collection at Target.

I looove the entire collection but this desk really caught my eye. I have the perfect place for it in our new house! :)

4. Denver Broncos jersey for dogs.

How freaking cute would Lou look in this little jersey?! Mom and dad both have theirs, so it's only fitting that he gets one too! If only I could force the gray babies into clothes... I'll keep working on that ;)

I'm slowly chipping away at our fall bucket list, and by that I mean I've made one batch of soup... But hey! It's only the very beginning of fall, I've got some time. Plus, a lot of the activities on that list are designed for me AND the hubs to do, so if he ever has a little free time (lookin' at you Marine Corps...) then we'll be able to make some serious progress!
Happy fall y'all! :)
