Visiting the Pumpkin Patch

Today was the perfect day for us to head to our favorite local pumpkin patch. This is the third year in a row that we've visited this particular patch and we are never disappointed! They always have a great selection of pumpkins of all sizes, and they're fairly inexpensive as well!

The weather was gorgeous so we took our time wandering through the rows of pumpkins and eventually filled our wheel barrow to the brim. After we paid, it was off to Lowe's for mums, a hay bale, and a few other odds and ends then back home to decorate our porch! I am so in love with how it turned out!

A big shout out to Mike for not only hosing down and sweeping the porch, but for moving pumpkins an inch to the left only to move them back 30 seconds later ;) Love you babe!

Of course we had plenty of help from this handsome pup!
We plan to carve the orange pumpkin on top of the hay bale and we have a few other Halloween-y decorations to add to the mix, but the porch is basically done and I feel so festive! I have so much fun decorating for fall every year and now that the outside is done, I can focus on finishing up inside the house! We came home with a ton of tiny pumpkins this year and I love finding little spaces for them all over the house :)

I can't believe Halloween is already right around the corner! I think we've finally figured out costumes for this year, but we don't have any big plans besides watching movies on the couch and passing out candy.. If I haven't eaten it all by then ;)

I wouldn't want to pick pumpkins with anyone else! ;)
