I'm Baaaack!

After months of slacking, the majority of a deployment, and several tutorials on blog sprucing... I'm back! I figured with about a month left of Mike's deployment, some people would probably like to know what's been going on ;)

I've had an amazing summer with my family and my kiddos at the studio! I had the opportunity to go to Hawaii and visit my sister Camille, go to some amazing concerts and shows, teach four different summer camps at Dual Star, and get a little relaxation in too! The best part though was that Mike and I have had a TON of communication throughout this deployment. I am so thankful for that A) because last time we talked maybe once every THREE weeks and that was absolutely miserable and B) because I enjoy the things I do much more when I'm able to share them with my husband :)

It really was a wonderful summer :) I am so thankful that I was able to spend so much time with my family. Since Mike has been gone they have been such a great support system for me as well as all my awesome dance students! I am also VERY thankful that I got to fit in a few Skype dates with this handsome guy...

Moving on to more recent news... I am finally moving to Jacksonville!! Hooray for no more long distance!! :) October 10th is the OFFICIAL move date. Just me, my sister Gracie, two gray babies, and a Uhaul trailer... Yikes! On October 3rd I'm taking a little trip down to NC to do some house hunting and to spend some quality time with my MILSO (MILitary Significant Other - I know, I'm so hip.) sisters ahead of time. I've been house hunting online basically since the day that Mike left, but I've found a couple town homes I like so keep your fingers crossed that I can make it happen! My goal is to have a house and to have it partially set up by the time Mike gets home. We may not have a couch, or any pots & pans, and only a full sized bed.... But I am completely determined! 

So that's everything in a nutshell I guess! Hopefully in the next 2-3 weeks I'll have some house related news and then shortly after that some Mike related news!

P.S. As I'm sure you've noticed, this blog has drifted away from being a "wedding blog" and sort of morphed into an "everything blog"... Hope you don't mind ;)
