Welcome!

Hello all! I finally quit my slacking and put together our wedding blog! Incase you don't already know us, here's a little background:

Mike and I met almost 4 years ago through mutual friends. I was working as a waitress and he had just joined the Marine Corps. and was about to leave for SOI. We stayed in touch while he was away and decided to start our relationship in August 2010. On July 28, 2012 Mike proposed on the Top Sail Pier in North Carolina and we've been incredibly happy ever since! :)

That being said, I've been tentatively planning our wedding which we are planning to have at the Barr Mansion in Austin, Texas. We haven't set an exact date yet because Mike will be deploying to Afghanistan again sometime in April of this year, but we are thinking spring time of 2014. One of the biggest details we want to share is that we will be getting legally married BEFORE he deploys. It will be a little courthouse affair, nothing fancy, but we just couldn't wait the extra 7 months while he was away to tie the knot! We don't want our friends or family to panic or feel like they were left out because we are still planning on having a ceremony for everyone to attend. I have a feeling that once Mike is away I'll be so bored I'll bust out all of that planning in no time! ;)

So please bear with me while I try to pull this all together, and as soon as we make more definite plans we will be happy to share them with you all! Mike and I thank you for your love and support and we are so thrilled to share this happy time with our friends and family!
